Karin has been in the travel industry since 1978 and has been operating in the hospitality and tourism market for the past 25 years. She has travelled and worked in several countries in Africa, the USA and Europe. Karin is responsible for the overall management, sales, marketing and public relations activities for OnBoard. She is the Managing Director of OnBoard and is APR accredited - the highest level accreditation as set out by the Public Relations Institute of South Africa.
 

Robert Gray is a director of OnBoard and Livewired Public Relations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, and a Master’s Degree in Business Leadership. Robert’s greatest strength is his knowledge of Africa. With 30 years senior executive experience across 22 African countries, Robert is truly an African specialist. Robert has a wide range of experience across many business environments and markets, and is valued for his business management and crisis planning consulting. He brings a strategic focus to Representation and Marketing.

Nicola specialises in writing and digital strategy and speaks Cantonese. She has a Business Economic Honours in marketing. Her experience spans tourism, advertising, and event management. Nicola has been the Secretariat for the Sandton Tourism Association for more than 3 years.

Lynnette has 25 years’ experience in the Travel and Hospitality industry, more than half of which she has specialised in Sales & Marketing to the corporate sector. Over this period Lynnette has done extensive business development and sales across Africa. She holds a Diploma in Public Relations and Marketing.

Emily is the digital marketing manager at OnBoard. She has developed several tourism and hospitality brands. She has a degree in Sports Science from the University of Pretoria. She is a double paralympian swimmer, and is currently training for Rio. Emily was the brand ambassador for Nedbank.

Jene manages OnBoard’s vast database, e-marketing, rates negotiations and reservations administration. She has been in the Tourism and Hospitality industry for 14 years and has an IATA International Travel and Tourism Diploma.

Mandy has excellent people skills and builds meaningful and solid relationships. She has 10 years of client liaison and sales experience. She holds a National Diploma from the Tshwane University of Technology and Pretoria Technicon. Mandy was winner in the Plat Africa Awards.

Ina is an experienced writer, journalist, and PR practitioner. She holds a BA degree in languages from the Rand Afrikaans University and a BHon in Consumer Science from North West University. She has twice been Consumer Journalist of the Year and was a finalist in the media category for the Shoprite Woman of the Year.
